be a great idea.

How diet and stress are related.

Stress will make you under or over eat. When you over or under eat this has a negative effect on the level of glucose in your blood. This will cause mood swing which of courses will cause you to be stressed/angry not feeling well. People don’t recognize this and thus eat more or less food which makes things worse.

Food is not a cure for stress however it can help. Eating nutritious foods helps you deal with the stresses that come your way. Eating properly gives you the fuel you need to deal with stressful situations. Eating too much sugary foods when you are stressed has a negative effect. It makes you more lazy, more grouchy and stressed. So cut out the sugar!

Stress can affect the immune system while nutritious foods can support it. It is well researched that stress weakens our immune system. Which will leave us more vulnerable to viruses and illness. However if you eat the proper foods that your body needs you will help your system remain healthy. So the key is to eat healthy so that you can maintain your immune system in good working order.

Your Stress and Your Diet

If you do research on the net you will find the link between diet and stress. There’s no doubt that what you eat affects how you feel, how you think and what you do. An unhealthy diet will be bad for you physically and mentally. Start to watch what you eat and make changes and see how it affects you.

It is Not Just the Diet

Having a healthy diet is very important however there are other factors you must take into account. These including

Sleeping around 7-8 hours at night

Scheduling time to relax

Having people to support you

Recognizing your limits

Planning and organizing

Having the ability to say no

These are just a few short tips that can help you. But start to make changes and see the difference it can make!

There’s no getting away from it. Stress is all about every minute of the day we can encounter stress. However its how we deal with it that counts. When we think when we are stressed we often don’t make the right decisions or don’t see situations clearly. We then make choices that will may make us more stressed. More often than not people think that’s just the way it is I have to think on my feet, however this will not always get us to our desired outcome.

In order to think without stress we need to stop being in a stressful state of mind. Although this may sound difficult it is not that difficult. Making decisions while we are stressed can lead to negative thinking as we may make incorrect decisions which will lead us in a vicious circle.

Stressful/Negative Thinking, Positive Thoughts, and You

Stressful thinking does a number of things. It can control the way you approach everything you do in life, however it also has a negative effect on your body, mind, and relationships. So you see stressful thinking is “holistic” in a very bad way – it affects all of your body. If you continue with the negative and stressful thoughts you will not be able to move forward. As the name of this site suggests you must change how you think.

The Power of Affirmations

As you may know an affirmation is a positive sentence or phrase that you use. For many affirmations are simply words on a page that mean nothing. However looking more closely you will see that affirmations are actually a way of changing how you think and becoming more positive.

Find or write out a positive phrase or affirmation and apply it to a negative situations. For example rather than thinking there’s no way I can accomplish this, reprogram your mind to think Let me give this a go and see what happens, I can only learn from every experience.

But how powerful are words? “I had a dream” four words that evoke more emotion that you can believe. Words are powerful. The meanings and thoughts we put into them are so important.

zithromax and asthma

Chose the words you use carefully as they can affect your thinking and life.

Find a positive affirmation and repeat it to yourself, believe it, immerse yourself in it and let it push the negative thoughts from your mind. If they don’t work there’s no harm done, if they do work, you’re going to see some awesome changes happening.

Remember the words and language we use can affect us greatly. In order to become more positive you must have more positive thoughts and use more positive language.

By using negative language and thought patterns you will become more stressed and more anxious which will cause you more and more problems – it becomes a vicious circle.

It sounds to good to be true right? So many people believe that this technique will be ineffective so they don’t even try using it. The only way to find out is to try. You have nothing to lose and no one will know you are trying it, so go on give it a go and let me know how you get on!

It’s Sunday night, you can feel that horrible feeling as you think of getting up in the morning to go to work. It usually starts some time late Sunday afternoon. It’s normal and so many people have it. It’s not actually the job that is the problem but the people and the environment in which you work. The people you work with may just not be nice people, they may be negative. Not only this the overall environment may not be conducive to work. For example people not willing to help out and stick rigidly to the job they do. All of this can cause you mental stress which will manifest itself into physical illness if you do not deal with it.

For many there’s no way they can change where they work, however you do have a choice on how you react to the stress.

Some tips on dealing with Stress In The Work Place

Create your own space in the office. It is quite common now to find open plan offices. This can lead to distraction as people move around the office. Create your space within your section and have everything you need at arms length so you don’t have to move too much. See if you can create a barrier that blocks the negativity. By this I mean a physical barrier. You could re-arrange your desk so that it faces out towards the window with your back It’s only a small thing but could make the difference.

zithromax and asthma

When you feel stressed use positive imagery. Have positive pictures or images that make you happy on your desk. Focus on these when you feel stressed. In a way you are doing a small bit of meditation just to focus on the more positive.

Create a daily to-do list. Sometimes stressed is caused by trying to do to many things. We find it hard to say no to people and end up with 5 items to do and no idea which one to do first.. This can cause undue and unnecessary stress. Having a list in front of you focuses you on what you need to do, and will actually make it easier to say no to others. You will be more organized and focused – try it you’ll be amazed.

Consider medatation. Meditation allows you to focus and concentrate fully. It allows you to go into your own quiet space and relax. In this stressful world a few minutes mediataion can make all the difference.

Look at your options. Maybe you’re better suited to a different department within the company, or perhaps a different job. Don’t put yourself into an early grave by going to a job you hate ever day and one which will eventually kill you. See if there are options to work in another area, work less hours, or move completely.

Now more than ever work place stress is at it’s highest level as people worry about job losses and feel trapped.. If the work place becomes too stressful and toxic you will have to assess your choices and take action. Stress which is not controlled will lead to physical illness which may lead to more stress.
